Joe Gowaty, originally from Pennsylvania, graduated from the King's College Physician Assistant Program in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He has also completed an Orthopaedic Fellowship in Johnson City, TN and has received further training towards his Masters Degree in Sports Medicine from Arizona School of Health Sciences.

Joe enjoys treating a full scope of orthopaedic problems. He assists in surgery with joint replacement, spine and sports medicine cases. A Virginia certified Physician Assistant, Mr. Gowaty is also an active member of Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS) and a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

Joe has a long standing reputation for providing quality orthopaedic care. He joined Orthopedic Specialty Clinic in January of 2006. He currently lives in Caroline County with his wife and three young sons.
